18/08/2010, Netzwoche Selçuk Boydak: “IT has long become a vital success factor” In an exclusive interview Selçuk Boydak, the founder of Boydak Management Consulting, reveals what he and his team have found out about the value contribution of IT organizations. Many IT organizations find it difficult to authentically and transparently illustrate the economic value of IT investments to the business. Therefore, in order to let the cost perspective loose its prominence, IT should proactively answer four crucial questions: Do we spend more or less on IT than others? Are we deploying our resources effectively and for the right things? Do we achieve the targeted bottom-line benefits? How is IT’s value contribution perceived by the top management?
